A long long time ago a wizard was put to death, but he swore vengeance on the townsfolk that did him in, particularly Arthur Kelly's family.

Well, the film starts off, as far as I can remember, with a young boy having a bad a dream. And from there, I was lost. I really wish I could sit here and talk about this film, and it's events, but I honestly can't. It jumped around so much, that I really didn't even know what was happening. And to this day, I still don't know what this film has to do with a wizard being put to death, unless perhaps the wizard was the old man we saw 1.5 seconds of? The only thing that really held this film together, if anything, was Linnea Quigley's out of place and pointless nude scenes.

One other thing that stands out in the film, is it's ridiculous nemesis. A man running around with a pumpkin head, killing people. Yeah, it's pretty bold but that's just what it is. I mean, Sleepy Hollow did a far better job than this self-proclaimed piece of shit. Now, I'll take that back partially. I'm sure, from the looks of it, the budget was EXTREMELY LOW, but how much sympathy can I really give them for that? I think a 8 year old aspiring filmmaker could come up with better ways to spend that budget than these guys did.

The special effects were just horrible, and you'll see what I mean when you see the electrocution scene. Sure, you tried. But after I was in post production, and actually saw that scene, I would definately cut it. I mean, how can you look at something like that and say to yourself, "Sure, let's keep it." The only scary thing about this film is the fact that these guys are pretty much still actively making movies, which I'm sure are all trash just as this one is.

All in all, it's pretty self explanatory. Never watch this film, or anything else Steve Latshaw comes out with. And WHY there is a 10th Anniversary Edition of this, I'll never know. I would love to give this film a 2, or even a 3, but I can't. If our rating system went into the negatives, I would generously give it a negative 4. Anyways, enough of my rambling. Sadly, I'll give this film a 1/10.
So your saying this is a good film? Laughing-satan
