Follows a group of kids called the "Losers Club" that encounter a creature called It,
which preys on children and whose favorite form is that of a sadistic clown called Pennywise.
When the creature resurfaces, the kids are called upon to regroup again,
this time as adults, even though they have no memory of the first battle.

RELEASE DATE: 2011

- Going to theaters.
- This will reportedly be rated R.
- It's said that the film will primarily be set in "present day".
- No word on who will be playing the devious clown "Pennywise".
- Scripted by Dave Kajganich (Invasion, Creek).
-* Warner Bros. is teaming up with Lin Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment.
- Based on the best-selling Stephen King book published in 1986, which was then turned into an ABC miniseries in 1990.
His name wasnt "IT", it was Pennywise.

Did you see the film or you just read the book?
Actually I was referring to this line in the bottom rundown.

Also I think I know who would be perfect to play Pennywise. How about Tim Curry? lol

I hope that if/when they do make this that they do two things....

1. Stay away from a hard R rating with gore and a lot of profanity and vulgarity.

2. Don't make it present day. I loved the feel of the original and I think a lot of that had to do with it taking place in the era that it did. I also loved the music in the movie.
I understand loving the era, but why no R rating?
I mean I love to hear me some vulgar words! Confusedexdev:
