The story revolves around a film fanatic whose obsession

leads him and two friends into the backwoods where it was originally shot.

Okay, this sounds BADASS. I actually had a similar idea (More straight-laced thriller though), which makes this film closer to me. I can't wait to know more about it, personally.

Eeh, I dunno. I get the feeling this could honestly work either way: Could be twisted if done serious, but IMO it wouldn't be awful if it went the "stupid-funny" route, doesn't have the amateur-ishness that would totally muckify it

I like some Horror Comedy, but some of it is kinda of stupid so...
