[COLOR="Cyan"][SIZE="3"]Willem Dafoe's name caught my attention. Here's a short article from Sun Media:

"Yes, there's supernatural stuff -- including a talking fox -- and gore, up to and including genital mutilation.

But don't call Lars Von Trier's Antichrist a "horror movie" in front of Willem Dafoe.

Dafoe, who, with Charlotte Gainsbourg, plays one half of a grieving couple who take gestalt therapy a little far in a cabin in the woods, says he practically never watches his own movies.

But he just saw Antichrist for the third time "and it reminds me less and less of horror."

On the other hand, he admits he sees the movie more and more like an audience member -- particularly in moments like, well, there's no other way to say it, the clitorectomy scene."

Releasing this month at the New York Film Festival.

Nice info! Thanks Rose!Smile
Willem is a GOOD actor!
This movie is floating all over the internet. It was released already on dvd in Europe and can be found easily.
Thanks, Jersey. I may try to get Loki to watch it with me tonight. I love Willem. He's a good example of how a man can be not very attractive and get famous anyway and purely the strength of his talent.
Von Trier is cool so I imagine this could very well be great, horror or just supernatural.

Wish Lars was able to finish The Kingdom though...
Wanna watch, wanna watch, wanna watch! Defoe!
Defoe is the man!
He did GREAT at the Green Goblin in Spider man!
Boondock Saints is just it for me. He's awesome.
True! Yea he did play a GREAT Gay Guy!
He wasn't gay. He just likes to f*#k dudes.Confusedexdev:
lol oh yea!

Hello all,

First day on this ole' talk about blood and guts forum.

I saw this movie about a month ago. Some how Comcast had it on demand. Its was a truly incredible movie. Very pretty imagery and completely disturbing all at the same time. I don't wanna ruin it, but all I have to say is bloody penis, and female circumcision.

This is definitely one of those movies that you have to sit and think about what you just saw for 10 minutes.
I have been wanting to see this. It was at my local art theaters for a little bit, I did enjoy seeing the title Antichrist up on the marquee. It was also 'on demand', but I missed it both places! I looked on amazon and it said something about the mfg pulling the product and netflix does not know when it is coming out. Where can I find it? I just cannot believe it was showing down the street from me!
Honestly, I do not understand, at all, why so many people liked this movie. I've seen it, and I hated it. Sure, the first few minutes of the movie is just beautiful. It had some great cinematography. After that, there was nothing going for this movie at all. In my opinion, anyways. This movie was like watching one of those terrible movies that are only like an hour and 12 minutes, but it seems like the thing is as long as Titanic.

lol but you gotta admit Titanic was good!
Antichrist is seriously disappointing. I was hoping it would be good, and the beginning looked awesome. However, now I fucking hate that movie and it's seriously one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I would rather watch Jack-O again.

Without a doubt.
I am sad to hear it is not good. I read the Fangoria article which made it seem cool. I suppose they are supposed to make you want to see it though.
That's the thing I don't like about most horror sites or horror mags. It seems like most get paid off.
