Quote:When Louis meets up with Lestat his life changes forever. Told from the perspective of the Louis in the modern day, Interview With the Vampire tells the creation and life of a vampire living through the centuries. It is book one in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.
To be honest this book was ALOT like the movie!
It was a REALLY good book! It deserves a GOOD read!
I Recommend ALL fans of the film, to read this!
I will admit one thing that made me cringe -
Claudia the little Vampire girl, is kinda all up on Louis.
I mean she is like 10 years old, and to be honest I think she "Loves" him.
I give this book a 8 out of 10!
The book is GOOD, but I liked the flick better!
Ahhhhhhhhhh, read this book a loooooooooong time ago. Pretty decent read for the time, and though I no longer dig the "Romantic" Vampire idea, it BLOWS TWILIGHT OUT OF THE FUCKIN' WATER! Hehe. I think Memnoch the Devil was my favorite in the series, though in the trilogy it was The Vampire Lastat. Rock-N-Roll vampire

I read this one years ago. I enjoyed it at the time.
It is a GOOD book!
I'm almost finished!
Hey Friday. Your spoiler there, wasn't she like like 40 years old or something at that time? She was an adult, just trapped in her body. Oh, and there is no such thing as a spoiler for a 20 year old book. Hehe.

I think she was like 30 some, but still...
LOL the point is she is in a kids body...
WELL, SHE WAS AN ADULT IN HER HEAD. WHY DO YOU THINK SHE WENT FLIPPY? I MEAN, IF I WAS HER AND WAS EXPECTED TO PLAY BARBIES FOR ETERNITY, I'D DO MY BEST TO GET BAKED! Heheh!

Adult in the head or not, no way jose!
I ain't be havin the cops on my ass

OK, I guess I'll be the heretic here. I liked it until the Théâtre des Vampires part and then there was something like eight pages describing a mural and I gave up. It just lost me after that.
