So why not cash in on something that's already established?? Let's think of all the things that can be done (Or could have been done) with the less fortunate (Or more fortunate...) shockers that have been left alone for now; create your own sequel idea for Maniac (As "Mr. Robbie" never got to get made), My Bloody Valentine, Hell Night, or really anything else!
Those movies - I can't really picture them as "Sequels"...
I could definitely picture MBV getting a sequel myself; great lead-in to one
I just don't think it's sequel worthy.
But then neither was The Howling, and yet we have a stable of hit-or-miss-ers X)
I find to late to have a sequal to the original one and a sequal to the remake jus wouldn't work.
Look what happened with Carrie...the Original was made 1976, 1999 they came out with Carrie 2: The Rage...that shit totally sucked! Some things are just better left alone.
