If you go in the bathroom turn around 5 times and say "Lady in White" then turn around the other way and say something you miss that is dead. you'll see the thing you miss in the mirror but all the lights have to be off and you can not do it with any friends only by yourself.

Time to try this out.

But if the lights are off in an enclosed space like a closet or bathroom with no window how can you see the mirror?

After your eyes adjust you shouldn't have any problems.
