I am also thinking if they will make a remake where the characters are grannies...lol

Since they already make a film for the maidens and mothers...why dont they try the crones?...:p

Eeek... Its the mean, grouchy, old lady!

Run For your lives!
She wears a gast mask because her doctor recommended it for her breathing problem.
Yeah!!! she just forgot to wear it because she has an Alzheimer's disease!
When she sends people other people's hearts in candy boxes, she makes sure that there is scented stationary and a croche-knit card to accompany it.
Really enjoyed this one. Saw it twice in the theater. I've been kinda avoiding watching and/or buying it on DVD or Blu-ray since I know the 3D effect won't be the same.

Yeah, it's not the same at all.

Well yeah, the 3D technology they use for the theater has advanced further from the red and blue glasses shit everyone remembers. Yet they haven't really found a way to make the home release as impressive as the theatrical as far as 3D goes. Maybe on those 3D televisions that cost a few grand.

I bought it but that's only because I preferred it without the 3D.

Really? It's still one of the best 3D experiences I've sat through.
Don't get me wrong. When I watched it, it was in 3D and my eyes didn't even twitch. Somehow the 3D was actually really good but when I watch films I don't like them to be 3D. To me, it doesn't add anything to the film. It doesn't make it scarier and it doesn't make it better.

Oh yes, it was the best 3D I've experienced. I suppose that's why we gave it a rescreening. Fun times, eh?
I've only seen it in 2D. Still an unusually good remake in my opinion.

Very.

It was an exceptional remake, 3D or not.
Very true. It had the perfect balance of cheese, horror, gore and veteran horror actor Tom Atkins. It also felt like they paid tribute to the original but at the same time, attempted to differ from the plot… but I can't place why it was so successful.
I've been meaning to see the original. Still haven't gotten to it.
