For fans of this comic. Here is some news for you.

The pilot for AMC's Walkind Dead is set to begin shooting on May 15th!

The television adaptation of Robert Kirkman's fan favorite survival horror comic has moved one step closer to being on our television screens. Though the series will be based on the comic, the word is that the producers will be able to develop the story in their own way, as opposed to following the comic religiously. Still, this reporter is very excited at the concept of a serialized Zombie show on TV.

I remember flipping through my oldest brother Jess's comics as a kid. We screeched about it on the phone when I told him it was all over San Diego...

Looks more like an infection movie than a zombie movie.

Im gonna wet my panties cuz Norman Reedus is in it. Big Grin
Season 2 has started filming. :Smiley-RubbingHands
It just started filming? I figured they would've had a few episodes filmed by now since season 2 debuts in...what...October?

That's no big surprise, and plenty of time. I just hope it lives up to the high standard set in season one.

I'm not sweating it, really. AMC delivers Breaking Bad every season without any slumps. I don't think this'll take much of a hit either.
I finally got round to watching all the first season. Loved it, can't wait for the second.

Does anyone know if it will be another six episodes? I lose patience with shows that run and run like Lost. Got to the middle of series 5 of that bugger and couldn't take anymore.

I agree with you Nat...6week run is enough...i got so bored with lost finding it hard to keep watching true blood,Thats getting boring now.

I'm the same-got to about the second episode of the third series of True Blood then fell behind with it. It doesn't help that it isn't shown on Freeview and isn't available on Catch UP TV. Missing one episode means either forking out for the whole box set or finding it on crappy quality streaming sites. I really can't be arsed with all that.

I agree with you Nat. Lost became more like Lost the will to live... gave up with it.

TWD hit it just right last time with the length of the series. I think 8/9 tops would do for me. I just hope its a little more zombie heavy next time round.
