That's a very interesting point that you made. After Twilight came out, he received lots of backlash for not showing what true werewolves and vampires look like. Coincidently, Daybreakers and The Wolfman remake come out shortly after. It was on purpose I think.

I actually did like Twilight but I will say it's definitely not HORROR.

I only lasted 20 minutes into twilight and started to get frustrated with all the slow mo intense staring between what's her face and what's his face. too much - too gay, and now they're making high school musical type vamp films - i need to throw sharp objects at these people - now!

remakes aren't always bad.. but most times aren't generally good either

Don't even get me started on the possiblity of The Crow remake.. grinding teeth as I type! hahah but grrr at the same time!

yep I have, read a fantastic book on the making of The Crow and the whole superstitous Lee curse - it was deadly. Big fan of The Crow and the thoughts of them remaking it with bubblegum actors is making me angry!

I still find it funny that both Daybreakers and The Wolfman came out right around when Twilight was getting big.

I think that by doing that, studios have regained the popularity of vampires and werewolves with the real horror crowd.
