I never could get into those Scream movies. I love Wes Craven though!
I adore Scream. Wes Craven is a horror pioneer. I just hope the next installment is as much a kick in the ass to the slasher genre as the first film was.

If it makes fun of remakes and "indie efforts" as effectively as the original made fun of hollywood originals? XD
I'd
hope that'd be happening but the rather generic slasher (honestly, isn't that ironic that it itself fell into one of the horror-traps of becoming less thought-provoking with each film?

) Scream 3 doesn't make me hopeful

Same here...
The first one was okay... but meh!
The first was pretty good. That's about all I can say for the Scream movies.

It is ironic...like rain on your wedding day....

Personally I love the first two, the third one was awful and I honestly have no idea where he is going with this one but I am not really happy about it.
The first 2 were good. 3 wasn't that great and the new one is gonna have the old cast and a new group of kids.
