Hey Guys,
I'm surprised there wasn't a section here dedicated to the cons. Which ones do you like? My favorite is Monster-Mania but I also really enjoy Horror Find Weekend as well. One of these days, I would love to try Chiller and a Fangoria weekend Con as well. This weekend, I'm going to the National Halloween Haunters Convention... My very 1st time going to that one! If any of you go, make sure you swing by the Troubled Moon Films table Sunday after 12 PM... I'll be there! Oh, besides horror, my 2nd favorite genre is Sci Fi. My favorite Sci Fi Con is Shore Leave Weekend in MD. My favorite channels are Fear Net (On Demand) and Sy Fy.

Here in Chicago we only have one big horror convention and that is Flashback Weekend. Aside from that, Horror Society plans a few ones like Terror in the Aisles and Music Box Massacre. Not many for such a big city but it's good enough for me. I would love to go to Chiller.
Wish they had shit like that in West Virginia
Speaking of conventions, Texas Frightmare Weekend is going on RIGHT now. I believe the big guests this year are John Carpenter and George Romero. A few others but can't remember who.
There are a buttload of people here for TFW. The whole list is here.

I got to work my first red carpet for the 2001 mainacs: Field of Screams premiere. A little bit nerve-wracking but fun.

And may I say this... Derek Mears is a very large man. :bowow:
Derek Mears is a very nice guy too! I had a great time at the National Halloween Convention today at the Troubled Moon Films table.
