FINALLY! Dark Night Of The Scarecrow is getting its much deserved release on DVD. Scheduled release date is September 28, 2010! Cant wait for this! Im guessing this will end up being a collectible once the title sells out. So i plan to get myself one for sure. The VHS can still be found here and there, but it is usually very pricey for an actual factory made copy. Theres some really convincing bootlegs of it thats saturated the internet for years. Buyers beware if your still looking to obtain a VHS if your a collector. Its still quite a nice little gem to have as a collectible, but it will loose some cash value once this new DVD hits stores. The DVD will be the new gem. Also, when i was hearing talks about this coming to DVD a long while back, there was talks of some newly added footage to the ending to help clear up some questions about the ending. No word on that yet if its actually been included...time will tell!

Hmm hopefully it actually comes to stores and not just online.

I know Amazon will have it. And i am pretty sure you will be able to find this at Best Buy when it comes out. Wal-Mart etc. is 50/50 as i dont always find the latest horror releases here. Maybe different at other Wally Worlds though.

Well im not to sure i know exactly what you mean. Is this a new doc on the new movie or the old movie? Or is this something thats been around for a while? Because i have seen so many things on NOES its quite possible i did. So any more info you can tell me would be a help!

Oh ok, no actually i havent seen that in any stores around here. Not even Best Buy. Have you tried asking someone at Best Buy if they carry it? Because my guess is that if any store would have it, Best Buy would for sure. Can you not get it online?

Oh and thanks for bringing this up, because i should get this for my Elm St. collection. They really should have included all the cool extras that come on that 2 VHS tape set from long ago. Because it has some very awesome footage that as far as i know has never STILL ever been released on DVD anywhere. Very nice treat for NOES fans.

I've looked at best buy, walmart, and target and none of them had it. I could get it online it jus takes longer haha.

Yeah, i know what you mean. I hate waiting for shit to come in the mail. But if you get it online, try Amazon they have it for $17.49, and i think it retails for almost $25.00. I wonder if this is an Amazon exclusive then since it cant be spotted anywhere else. Might have to look into that one.

Exactly! I think this is WONDERFUL news! This is one of my favorite movies. I just love it and i cant wait! I have heard about this for such a long while now, its soooooooo over due. Glad its finally around the corner.
