The TH movie would make slightly more money than AVATAR or TITANIC.
And it wouldn't even need to be in 3D to win over its audiences unlike Avatar

what would be the pull to watching a bunch of horror fans *get along* in a cabin in the middle of nowhere...

The pull would be to see people, who love and damn near worship horror, try to get along while a crazy killer stalks them. It would be a whole new spin on the genre because the common horror cliches would be thrown out the window... 'cause we all know them. It would be a smack in the face to horror but it would, at the same time, pay tribute to the genre.
