Yeah, that's right....it's sequel time.
My boy Lucky McKee is currently working with writer Jack Ketchum. Check it out...

Sorry Bo, Angela Bettis will be in this movie as well, but not starring.
Hmm. Sounds interesting. I'd have to see Offspring first, though.
Principal shooting for the film ended on the 30th and now it is in editing. Set for 2011 film festival release.
Great interview from Bloody Disgusting and Jack Ketchum....

I might just be a pissant right now but... couldn't they have thought of a better name than 'The Woman?'
Couldn't your mom think of a better name than Rick?

That was quote worthy!!!!
Now I'm even more hyped to see The Woman....a lady fainted at the sundance screening and another person is trying to start a burning ban of the movie.
What kinda movie were they expecting??? Pretty Woman?
Yesssssssssss.

That sounds bad ass. Too bad ugly/annoying ass Angela Bettis is in it.
The Woman is the last surviving member of a violent clan that has roamed the Northeast Coast for decades. When the last of her family is killed in a battle with the police, The Woman finds herself alone, severely woundedâ¦and vulnerable. Unfortunately, she is now a far too easy prey for local hunter, successful country lawyer and seriously disturbed family man Christopher Cleek. With his twisted set of ideals, Cleek decides to embark upon a deranged project - to capture her and "civilize" The Woman - a decision that will soon threaten the lives of Cleek, his family and The Woman.

See I loved Jack Ketcham's books but I really think (even if they had only touched on it for the prologue) they should have used some of "Off Season" which was the first novel-"Offspring" was the sequel-it was pretty good-I liked the movie but if I hadnt read about the making of it I probably would have looking for a prequel or something-but I'll be interested in seeing the sequel
I saw this a little while ago and I totally loved it. The brutality, the dysfunctionality, the misogyny... fabulous. I'm a fan of the Bettis/McKee combo anyway and I really wasn't disappointed this time around either.
