Hi everyone!

I thought I might take the time to talk about my upcoming teen horror web series that will be hitting the Web at the end of the Fall. Maybe some of you might be interested.

THROWING STONES is an upcoming (5) part teen horror web series just finished filming in Dallas, Texas that stars LINDSAY SIEDEL (The Final), CHERAMI LEIGH (The Mist, Fast Food Nation, HBO's Temple Grandin), REBEKAH KENNEDY (upcoming horror features House Hunting, Blood is Blood), KAYLA CARLYLE (From the Dark), CHAD COX (Powder, ER, The Good Guys) and more.

Synopsis: When a group of high schoolers have to attend Saturday School they must work together to overcome their differences in over to survive when students end up missing.

The concept of Throwing Stones derives from the sociologist theory on broken windows. A broken window is left unfixed in a neighborhood; it signals to that community it's acceptable for that type of behavior to take place. These ideas compound until the neighborhood becomes decayed and unable to achieve its past grander. Now apply the theory to schools and replace broken windows with broken students, and now you have one hell of horror ride as the antagonist eliminates the unacceptable element that walk the halls of Blair High School.

We're hoping there will be a demand for a Season 2, because Season 1 will leave the viewers hanging. This web series is targeted towards teens, but at the same time fans of horror.

NicoleMayCanaday -

Dread has been very good to us. No doubt. I was hoping Horror Trailer would cover it at some point. One can dream.

You should sign up for our FB page!

Do any of you guys ever check out http://www.bloodsprayer.com ??? I love those guys. A great site that offers the latest horror news, but at the same time is a bit different from the norm.
I get blood sprayers tweets. I do enjoy Dread Central.

I refuse FB. It's bad enough my life is sucked away by tweeting lol
I hear ya on the FB stuff. Had a stalker a while back.
Stalkers can be fun.Cpu
I'd like to help if I can...can do some low budget (read:free) artwork if you need anything?
Hi Caroline!

Bart here (Throwing Stones).

Thanks so much for the offer. Right now if you go to http://www.throwingstoneswebseries.com you can see our two official web series posters. We have another one on the way. All of them are done by a guy named Alex Kinter because we're going for a certain style.

However...

I'm always looking for great atwork and opportunities for this project and others. Do you have anything you can show me? A link to some of your work perhaps? Would love to see it!

Smile
Hi everyone!

We sat down for an interview with Bad Movie Nite. Thought you might want to give it a read...or not Wink

Nice interview Bart Smile So, Jason is your peanut butter?

My brother and SIL are both teachers and they are always telling me about administration making things difficult. My SIL teaches special education, and I think it's horrible how they place all kinds of learning disabilites in one class for one teacher and an aid to deal with. It seems some schools also dump children who can't focus and are disruptive into a special education class. What did you teach? Grade? Smile

That would be really cool to see Throwing Stones get picked up by like CW for a TV series. One Tree Hill needs to be replaced immediatly with something wicked cool.
Hey there. 6th grade middle school - World Cultures. I had good kids.

Stones isn't really like a TV show. And if it was - I think people would want to see the kids die already. Ha ha ha.

One Tree Hill. People still watch that?
Looking great, brotha. HorrorTrailer will cover it. Unfortunately, I'm having some major problems with my host right now. I was wanting to make HT something much bigger than it is, but I believe in order to do-so I might have fire the fuck out of my current host.
Hi Bojangles. This would be FANTASTIC! Insert my little school girl horror scream here --> _______________.

Let me know what you need: stills, posters, exclusives, info, etc.

Right on Bart! Excited to see how the online yearbook turns out. Smile

How many stories of the students will this first season follow? Is there one story that is truly your favorite?
Would you say the characters of the students make up the horror of the film, or do we get to see some of these hellions die a deserving, gruesome death? Big Grin
Thanks for reading the article!

The yearbooks are quick snippets that look like real kids went off and did video yearbooks. Some are 30 secon clips and some are 1 min. But you get to know more about the characters. This web series is made for teens in mind, but also for people who like horror. All of the kids are sent to Saturday School because they are broken windows. Together they must all overcome their differences and survive. Season 1 is all about the set-up with some psychological and cool "stuff." Season 2 would be even more in-depth. Each episode will be about 3 min. or less.
