They seem to be really blowing this movie out of proportion.
You see, young skywalker, this goes much deeper than simply the movie Hatchet 2. This film being released unrated by AMC for the first time is allowing our genre to be enjoyed at its purest state.
No censored bullshit that you & Blue whine about daily on this forum. This movie, if successful in the box ofc means, we horror fans could get what we want and no longer suffer with remakes and MPAA watered down crap.

Guy standing to the right of Tony Todd, his name is Colton Dunn, plays much comedy relief. Adam Green said he found him not through a casting agent, but by playing Halo with him. He said Colton was a funny mother fucker and he just had to meet this guy and cast him in his movie. So there ya go.

No! They're saying if you (and a lot of other horror fans) see Hatchet 2 (unrated) in theaters, it could end up making good filmmakers, not to mention HOLLYWOOD a lot more open to the idea of making more daring decisions where rating is concerned, letting more films slip by with less cuts

I honestly thought Hatchet was awful and Prom Night remake was average... but I'm not gonna lie, Prom Night would have been a whole lot better with a little bit more blood and Hatchet would have been even worse without it's gore scenes. I am a supporter of this movement :3
