Well the first Dario Argento friday special has come and gone. What can I say about Deep Red. A famous psychic is murdered in full view of a couple of drunk musician's. One of the musicians lives in the same building as the murdered psychic and feels compelled to solve the murder.
With the help of Daria Nicolodi he sets out on is very on magical mystery tour.
The witness's start dropping off left right and centre every time our two hero's get close.... What can this mean??? Is the killer closer then we think...????
There are some very gruesome murder scenes and the soundtrack is just amazing. Recommended viewing folks...

The second Dario Argento Friday has come and gone...

The movie... Tenebre.

An American writer goes to Italy to promote his new book. As soon as he gets there a serial killer starts slicing and dicing their way through the local population. Using the writers latest book as the inspiration.
Argento's movies take some very strange turns and this is no exception. One scene in particular stands out when after having a fight with her motorcycle loving boyfriend. A sexy young girl in the hottest of hot pants decides to walk home. She proceeds to tease a dog. This is clearly not a good idea. The dog goes all Chuck Norris on her and decides to take a nibble on that ass...(Dog has taste )
It truly is a fantastic horror scene. Very realistic. The Hound of the Baskervilles is mentioned later in the film... I think Dario drops a hint as to who is the killer me thinks...
Overall another great film from Argento. Lots of twist's and turns. Some of them make very little sense but that doesnt seem to matter.
