Bloody-disgusting-With the Saw franchise coming to an end, producer Mark Burg will be joining Carl Mazzocone in bringing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre back to theaters. Word has it that Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are putting the finishing touches on Debta Marcus and Adam Sullivan's screenplay for Leatherface 3D. We're told that the plot picks up immediately where Tobe Hooper's original left off before flashing forward 35 years. There's buzz of a "cult" involved. Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures acquired the rights to Leatherface once Platinum Dunes and New Line Cinema passed on making a second sequel to the 2003 reboot.
NO!!!!! Why??? I don't want it to be a cult!! That would take away from the fact that this family is just crazy!!!! I'd be better off seeing a sequel to Next Generation.

The Saw is FAMILY!!!!!!!!! I cant wait
A cult would be kind of lame but I won't judge it just yet. I never expected the remake to be as good as it was so hopefully they turn this into something worthwhile...

Maybe it's gonna take the Blair Witch 2 route and people will hear about the crimes and go out there in search of the crimes, worshipping them like the Manson followers. But they become victims too and learn the hard way that Leatherface is one motherfucker that you just don't mess with
