Fearnet.com-- Children in Boston got an unwelcome surprise while celebrating a friend's birthday.* A group of parents brough their children (median age: seven years old) to see the animated comedy Megamind.* But when the film started to roll, what the kids got was Saw.* In 3D, no less.* Anyone who knows the Saw franchise knows that each film opens with an intense kill.* It took a few minutes to get the film off the screen.* The theatre swears it was just an accident, and have given the kids a free ticket to any movie.* No word yet on if they will also be footing the therapy bills.
It would definitely be an inconvenience, but with parents there, the children shouldn't have seen a thing. Grab your kid, make them face the opposite way of the screen, take them out of the theater, whatever.

Wouldnt want to do that! then they couldnt sue-LOL
...I woulda chosen to see Saw again with the "any movie ticket"

.
Now, I think Saw VII sucked, but at age 7 I'd probably think it was
awesome! :3
It was obviously intentional. The logistics of swapping two prints in separate booths couldn't have been done on accident.

Bingo

i watched movies like that when i was 7...
erm how could it be intentional? that makes no sense to me. shit happens.
I think its happend before at the exact same theater.
They know how to run a business.

Please every horror movie Ive ever seen in a theater people have little kids with them-kids like to be scared
Shit, my brother would lock me in the basement with him at the age of 5 and force me to watch horror. All I got were nightmares...I didn't get a free movie ticket.

Ditto. And hey, maybe somebody wanted to get their "kicks" through doing it >.>
...or to simplify things, maybe a ticket-taker or person who operates the signs saying which film is in which theater messed up?
So it seems like we all watched horror movies as kids and we all turned out pretty "normal".

hahahaha depends on the definition of "normal"

Hold on, before I can sit down in my comp chair let me just wipe off this bloody axe so it doesn't stain the floor.
Okay, I'm done.
Yes, we turned out normal.
