I caught this one with a bedridden friend yesterday night, hearing from several reviewers that it was among the best horror films of the past decade. With most of it, I couldn't help but agree; it's a slow burner with plenty of moments prime to creep you out. The ending was just a little underwhelming though, possibly because I didn't fully understand everything. Still, I would definitely back up those who say it's uncommonly good for the 2000s.

Creepy: good. Underwhelming endings: always a bummer. But I'm always up for a decent asylum movie, so we'll have to check it out.

It's a wonderful movie! Although, I do think that it has since become way overrated. It's a horror flick that makes you think, but I don't want it to go the way of Suspiria.

I've still haven't caught this flick but between the good posts here on it and the good reviews I'm determined to see it soon.
