I saw this on another board. Remember, post scenes that you believed defined the film, not your favorite scene from the movie.

Heat - De Niro and Pacino chatting at the diner.

The Dark Knight - The Joker's final scene.

Halloween - When Laurie asked Loomis if Michael was the boogeyman.

The Thing - the whole blood test, when paranoia actually set in.

Psycho - I know a lot of people say the shower scene, but I honestly believe the conversation during the sandwich scene explains a lot about Norman.

The Shawshank Redemption - When Red and Andy are playing chess, talking about their guilt.
The Lost Boys-The Vampire gang walking up hill after the beach party killings

Near Dark-Bar scene-Finger licking goodSmile (I included this film because the above scene was stolen from Near Dark)

Good Fellas-Funny guy scene.Joe Pesci is amazing in this film, this scene is one of the most iconic ever filmed imo.

The Shining- Heeeeeeeere's Johnny!!!

Full Metal Jacket- Shower stall scene. Truly frightening stuff from Vincent D'onofrio as Pile. This scene shows what any human is capable of when pushed to far...
Carrie - though I still love the detention gym scene, the exact moment when her eyes go wide and things start to "happen..."

Hook - "say it Peter, say and mean it" "I belive in fairys" "-- that's where I'll always love you - where I'll aways wait for your return"

Labyrinth - "You have no power over me"

The Nightmare Before Christmas - Jack's Lament, sets the stage for why he feels a need to do what he does and the *quiet* devotion of Sally

My Cousin Vinnie - "Oh yeah - you blend." his gf is unipressed by his telling her he fits in better with the location as he is wearing cowboy boots

Animal House - during the trail scene, "would you tell those @$$***** to shut up?" "HEY SHUT UP YOU @$$***** !!!"

Bram Stoker's Dracula - "- I love you too much." "then take me away from all this death"

Cheers2cheers to all who submit Big Grin
Thanks Caro!! Big Grin

Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The painfully brutal scene with the grandpa and the hammer

Jurassic Park - The scene when the T-Rex escapes

Network - Howard Beale's breakdown on live TV

Back to the Future - Marty, via the clocktower, goes back to 1985

Terminator 2 - When the Terminator helps John and Sarah escape from the T-1000 in the hospital

Raiders of the Lost Ark - The map room scene
The Hills Have Eyes(1977) When Bobby finds Beauty gutted
The Stepfrod Wives(1975) Joanna finds her husband drunk, crying in the den after his "initiation" into the Stepford Men's association
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1973) for me it's the beginning with the shots of the desecrated graveyard
[COLOR="Lime"][SIZE="2"][SIZE="3"]Just a few

Dawn of the Dead 2004 - When Anna came out of the hospital after her shift was over, and she saw the paramedic laying down in back of the truck, sort of the beginning of the end. When I first saw it I thought the paramedic would get up and attack Sarah Polly, which I thought is one of the hottest babes in zombie movies.

Dawn of the Dead 1978, when they raided the housing project, and the guy was shot and fell off the roof. Society falls apart. allso when the one legged preacher gave his sermon to Peter and Roger. it gave Peter the excuse he needed to follow Roger.

Rogue-when the croc takes the womans and there's no sound no scream he's just gone
Twister - The scene where Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt are driving away from the F1 in the ditch.

Glory - The Battle of Fort Wagner

Star Wars: A New Hope - When Obi-Wan lets Darth Vader kill him

High Noon - The scene with Will Kane standing, alone, in the middle of the town.
Gone With the Wind - Mammy holding back Scarlet from welcoming back Ashley (even at a happy reunion Mammy held firm that THAT moment be reserved for his wife)

Pirates of the Caribbean -- Jack getting his hat back from the sea beast, putting it on - then jumping in

Lilo and Stitch - looking at the book of the Ugly Duckling and the realization of "I'm lost"
