Was definitely awesome. I had never seen a movie that was 3D in theatres. Not to mention, it was a horror movie. It was a nice experience. I can say that.
I wanted to get a group of friends:zombie: together and see this Sunday, but watta ya know, SUPERBOWL SUNDAY! Next Sunday then, and I hope it's still out!
It should still be in theaters by next sunday. I hope you have fun. It's a good experience, that's for sure.
I'm definitely wanting to see this movie.
it sounded stupid but i might have to check it out
It's a great 3D experience, in my opinion. They're still showing this in theaters as far as I'm aware. I know, it's insane.
is it really worth seein, in your opinion?
The 3D was badass, but the actual movie kinda sucked. If Tom Atkins wasn't in it I would have never even watched it. But yeah it's worth a watch.
I thought this movie was pretty entertaining. It was one of those films that didn't try to beat the original and was corny but fun to watch in 3D. This is what a remake should be.

I thought it beat the original and wasn't all that corny. Sure it wasn't like an ultra-serious thriller as is the norm today but it had few over the top effects (some examples being the pickaxe throw), and little unnecessary comic relief (like a real old school slasher, unlike how Adam Green seems to picture one

)

I think it's because the first one played out too much like a teen-drama, which half of the movie is, and had the horror aspect on the side.

which brings up an interesting point
has anyone ever saw a movie in theatres just because a favorite actor/actress/etc.
was in it and you wanted to
"support them"
I'll be the first to shamfully admit I saw when I was younger - to see Scott Bakula (sp - the guy from Quantum Leap) in a handful of films.
Even leaving the theatre after seeing him in the shower because I didn't think it was going to get any better after this.
I've seen a lot of movies without caring who is in it and whether or not I like them.

Same here Bo. It was my first horror movie in 3D. After the movie I said to my friend, "That was effen awesome, they should make all horror in 3D!" The pick axe was certainly bad @ss.
If they made all horror movies in 3D I'd never watch any of them.
Cuz I don't like 3D. I feel its a gimmick and doesn't need to used on every movie that comes out.
Sure its a gimmick, but it adds to a film if used the right way.
