Scene of the coolest GhostHunters I've ever seen. They went there 2 or 3 Halloweens ago and spent most of the night. If you get a chance to watch the results show it is freaking awesome. Just the way Jason gets out of bed and calmly says, "There is a party in my closet." It is also the hotel that gave Stephen King the idea for "The Shining." A lot of history. I would love to go there and stay the night in Room 217. Spooky
I think I watched that on the net. Isn't that one of the ones where you could hit the "panic" button?
I know it was online. I think it did have a button/messenger thing that alerted them if you saw something they did not. I was Trick-or-Treating with kids, so I did not get to watch then. I saw part of the original show. But, they recently replayed the results show, cuts to the interesting stuff without the 5 hours of filler. Speaking of alert buttons, there is a "haunted" castle in England, I think, that you can watch web cams and message them if you see a ghostGhost. If you see something that can be proved, you get a free weekend stay in the castle.
Oh hell, my ADD is showing againWink
That would be awesome, and it's a pretty cool idea for a show. I'd stay in the castle. Wink
I don't believe in Ghosts, but never miss an episode of Ghost Hunters. As far as the hotel goes I've always wanted to check it out.
I'd stay in it.
Hell yeah!! Room 217 is a must. I had heard/read somewhere that they are booked out for a year + for that room. They also give ghost tours to guests. Very cool place.
That's hardcore. Those people are lucky.
If we ever make that cross country trip, it is a must. You would have to pretty much expect to stay up all night. I wouldn't want to miss anything. Knowing my luck, all of the ghosts will be on vacation and it will be as silent as a tomb.
Hell yea man!
I would love to stay a night there! Big Grin
I think we all would. Oh, staying up all night is a definite must. Hell, I bet people TRY to sleep in that room, but are too afraid.
Yea, your right about that!.
