This is one of my personal favorites how about you
One of my favorites also.
Count me in as a fan. The first time I saw this movie I found it to be really creepy. Watching the killer go about his business was almost painful. Plus the performances are just outstanding. Great movie!
GREAT movie. Anthony Hopkins is the man.
Classic!

That pretty much sums it up.
Loved this movie. Fat girls everywhere were watching their backs.
"Now then, tell me. What did Miggs say to you? Multiple Miggs in the next cell. He hissed at you. What did he say? "
definately a fan, but also definately not my favorite!!
I wonder why Jodie Foster wouldn't appear in the other films...
She should have, I like Jodie.
Very amazing movie. I deffinetly wouldn't call it a favorite but high on the list.

It's a Classic, but I can't really say it's one of my favorites.
was this the first film of it's kind (some call it Horror) to win an Oscar?
For best picture probably! If just counting Oscars, for one, Misery landed Kathy Bates best supporting actress I think .
It won:
Best Actor in a Leading Role
Anthony Hopkins
Best Actress in a Leading Role
Jodie Foster
Best Director
Jonathan Demme
Best Picture
Edward Saxon
Kenneth Utt
Ronald M. Bozman
Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium
Ted Tally

I don't need Google to know it was one of 3 films to win all 5 MAJOR Oscars!
