I can't say it was stupid, but it was okay

I definitely am looking forward the the sequel and definitely don't get the stark hatred some fans have towards the first... I can understand not thinking it's one of the best, but saying it's one of the worst is damn extreme in my eyes; makes me think either hype backlash or very impatient fans are to blame.
