Now THIS is a crossover they should actually make! It would make a good conclusion to the Phantasm series and a good bridge to "Bloodline".
Pinhead and The Tall Man are pretty much polar opposites (an alien conquistador vs. a demon pain-pimp), one has technology that can rip apart dimensions, one has weapons that can tear apart souls, one says souls don't exist, one is believed to be "beyond technology". Both have a fighting chance; Imagine if a cenobite can be converted to a "tall-being" the way old-man Morningside was, or if legions of gold-spheres can be transformed into armies of cenobite-spheres. If both sides can be warped that way the fight would be epic.
I think the deciding factor would really be the extradimensional aspect: Being of a spiritual nature I believe hell applies to pretty much any world (Unless different dimensions have different versions
), if the tall-beings/minions could be sucked in, Pinhead would most likely take the win. If you take the atheist view of most of the Phantasm series, The Tall Man might be able to tear hell from the inside-out and then continue to conquer Earth.

He used these weird 'Sphere' things - Called "Sentinels".
They have spikes things that drill into your head and through your brain.
He was a Supernatural Undertaker, who turned the dead into Zombies.
He can levitate objects, and invade his victims minds aswell.

I voted for Pinhead not because I wanted to but because logically Pinhead would own The Tall Man even though I would be rooting for him all the way.
