Hah! PS does create ghosts! I hate PS, therefore I'm going with Ghost Hunters. Their show seems more valid.

Yeah, I think PS is complete and total BS and the worse part about it is the main guy actually believes the BS flying around, or he is doing a study on gullible people. Ghost Hunters are the real deal. First, they try to prove that everything is BS, if they can't, hell, I almost believe it. Then again, it is on television.

I definitely agree.

I sure think they make shit up. Ghost Hunters pretty much never says a place is haunted.

Come on, guys. Ghost Hunters is the Blair Witch Project of the tv world. GH and PS are both faker than shit. GH does a better job at fooling folks, but I think PS is more entertaining. And, yes, I believe in ghosts - I've seen 2 full bodied apparitions myself.

It is on television and it has definite moments that have been staged and at times outright fabricated. The Manson Murders episode was the first on where they actually doctored evidence in post production and because it was exposed they removed the doctored footage when it was re-aired, and was not released in the DVD version.
They've also done things like pass off a thermal reflection as a Civil War soldier, pulled a chair with fishing line, and passed off an obscure shot of a statuette as being paranormal. It's all entertainment and nothing more.

Honestly, I really don't think Ghost Hunters fabricates their evidence...you may think that a chair was pulled with fishing line & everything, but you don't have any proof that it actually was or wasn't. Anyways, I'm a big fan of the show obviously, but it's the ONLY paranormal show I watch because all of the other ones are lame. I tried getting into Paranormal State & Most Haunted, but they never come up with any actual evidence & always use retarded methods like "dousing rods"-come on

I also support TAPS because the guys are really cool. I've met Steve, Tango, Donna (used to be on the show), Brian (used to be on the show)....

I'll actually watch Ghost Hunters. Paranormal State is a big no-no for me. That show is ridiculous.

HAHAHA....I hate that guy from Paranormal State. He always says "Director's Log" like fucking Star Trek- "Captain's Log"....damn that show's fake! And there's always a "demon" following them?!

There's proof that the thermal footage for the Manson Episode was doctored:
Darkrealm Labs - A Different View on the Paranormal World
Also, they faked the communication part with Cris Flemming and the K-II. That also is provable.
Then there's the recent collar pull. You can believe what you want but facts don't lie, nor do the laws of physics when it comes to how fabric behaves. But, people do lie.

That part has always cracked me up. Chip is pretty funny as well. He was making all sorts of claims but then when asked to back them up he tried to sidestep the subject.

None of the stuff they do surprises me. I mean, I wouldn't be amazed if all of the stuff on both shows were fake. I know all the stuff they show on Paranormal State has to be fake. Ghost Hunters seems way more valid and I actually enjoy watching the show.

Paranormal State = FAKE

They put all of these things on t.v. for the entertainment value. If the show was boring & nothing ever happened, it would not be on the air for long. For the most believable, not saying they hook line & sinker me, totally Ghost Hunters. For the entertainment value, Ghost Adventure on Travel Channel gets my vote. They are total idiots, but hilarious. They are the Wil E. Coyote's of the genre. Paranormal State is off my radar. Eons ago, there were no other paranormal shows on besides Most Haunted. And, it only came on during the 13 days of Halloween on Family channel, I think. (Although it may have started off on another station.) So, you watched it or nothing. But, that was before other stations started picking up similar shows. Hell, even Cartoon Network is starting one soon.
