According to Wikipedia, Jay Chattaway did the scores for Maniac Cop and Maniac Cop 2.
As if that weren't enough to love him for, he also composed music for all the newfangled Star Trek series. You know Picard's flute tune in "The Inner Light?"
Yeah, Chattaway wrote that.
Sweet.
When it comes to Star Trek... I only like the score Jerry Goldsmith did for the movie. As for Maniac Cop 1 and 2... haven't heard them.
After American Werewolf in London this is my favorite werewolf movie. It came on Fearnet a few months ago. I watched it three times. I need to go get the DVD. I think I liked it mostly because it had Corey Haim and Gary Busey in it. The guy who played the werewolf is pretty creepy looking. I really like any Stephen King movie.
I need to watch Silver Bullet again soon. It's such a classic.
I really loved the short story that this movie was based on. I felt like it was a unique werewolf story with some amazing, beautifully drawn pictures. The film, however, I don't remember. I only saw it once but it's strange because I own the soundtrack. Like Bo, I need to see it again so that I can have a clear judgement.
Did you know Stephen King wrote the novella in one sitting? True story.
It really doesn't surprise me. That man is a genius.
My favorite thing about Silver Bullet is the fact that the werewolf was Stilgar from Dune. "Usul, we have wormsign the likes of which even God has never seen."

I think I own the book or did. I don't think I ever saw the movie.
It is epic 80's sci-fi at it's finest, my friend. AND it stars Sting. So really, there is NO excuse for you to not see this film immediately. LOL
This is by far my favorite Werewolf movie
one of the best movies ever made......reminds me of my childhood
Going to have to see if this is on Netflix then with the praise it's getting.
You will enjoy it, or die! LOL
All joking about Dune aside, Silver Bullet really is a great werewolf movie.

You had a psycho alcoholic uncle like Gary Busey who made you a high performance wheel chair, and one night you shot a skyrocket into a werewolfs eye? Cool
Yeah. I definitely had that book for sure. Don't know if I still do.
