I'm not complaining here. I am just genuinely curious. Why does he have to put Sherri Moon Zombie in everything he does? In all of his music videos, that was fine. However, he's even put her in every movie he has done. That's a little surprising, honestly. I mean, he's even written her a part in Halloween 2. If you remember correctly, she died in Halloween. It won't be just her voice in Michael Myers head, instead, she will be physically presented like a ghost or something. In the trailer she's even dressed like a deranged version of Michael Myers' mother, but in a ghostly fashion.
Here's the H2 trailer:
H2: Halloween 2 (2009) - Official Theatrical Trailer
Check out the trailer if you haven't seen it. You can see Sherri Moon Zombie with white hair and dressed in a gown, telling Michael Myers to kill for her, basically. A lot of people are complaining that Rob Zombie is copying Jason's mother from the Friday The 13th series. Just check it out for yourself and then let me know what you think.
Interview with Rob Zombie:
Halloween (2007) - Rob Zombie World Premiere Interview
Here he explains that he brings a lot of his friends in because he can trust them. I guess I can see his point with that, but what does he need to trust them with? Does he put his wife in everything because he trusts her more than anyone?
Another question, would he put her in a movie even if her character completely ruined the movie? I mean, it's obvious he specifically writes parts just for her. I'm curious to hear all opinions on this topic. I'm not insulting anyone or anything. As I said, I am just genuinely curious.
Personally, I wish he would stop this. Her roles seemed forced to me, plus, despite her being attractive, I don't think she is very good. I thought she was terrible in House of a 1000 Corpses, MUCH better in Devil's Rejects, and borderline in Halloween.
I couldn't stand her in House of 1,000 Corpses. I didn't like that movie at all, actually. I do need to watch it again, though. It's been awhile. Her laugh just got on my nerves way too bad in that movie. I did enjoy The Devil's Rejects, though. I was actually just talking to someone IRL about that movie. I never knew they even liked it or had seen it.
Despite anything, I will see H2 in theaters. After that, I'll be writing a review for it. I hope it's better than the Halloween remake.
I was getting excited about Halloween 2 and then saw the trailer for it and saw her in it and had my bubble burst big time. I saw an earlier poster say she was attractive, I have to disagree. She is the product of a ton of makeup and she also needs a specific wardrobe to look halfway decent. She looks like she took a big time fall from the meth tree and hit every branch on the way down. I am in agreement with you on House of 1000 Corpses Bojangles, it sucked. The Devils Rejects was a good rebound flick because it was more of a stripped down flick with an amazing soundtrack. It didnt get into that crazy Dr. Satan nonsense.

It's been so long since I've seen House of 1,000 Corpses I need to watch it again before I could really get into a conversation about it. I just remember seeing Dr. Satan and thinking what the hell? Wasn't he a robot or something?
I agree here. Wtf is up with her, and her being in every single one of RZ's films?...
I hear what all of you are saying, but look at her! She is hot, and, in my opinion, is a much better option that the WB teenybopper flavor of the month as an actress.
As far as Rob talking about bringing in people he can trust, I get that. The roles he has for her may not be the most dramatic, but he knows he can count on her to bring out what he needs from the role...

DAMN SKIPPY!
I'm not a huge fan of RZ and him casting SMZ in Halloween 2 is an example why. Pretty much the same general cast in all of his films. Sherri fit well in with the House of a 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects pretty well, although she was terribly annoying. But with him pulling a storyline out of his a$$ just to have a role for her is ridiculous.

That's how I feel. Honestly, I would rather see a WB (does WB even exist anymore) teeny-bopper of the week. Why? Because I'm not sure what to expect. When I see that Sherri Moon is going to be included in another Rob Zombie film I know exactly what to expect. As a matter of a fact, before Halloween was released I predicted to my friend exactly what Sherri Moon would do in that movie. I was right on the money. To me it seems like he's creating roles to be able to specifically include her. I mean, a ghost? Seriously?
Lol.
I do admit, she had to have her little stripping scene.
That's exactly the scene I called. Seriously!
In all fairness, let's not hate! There are much worse worse looking women that could have that strip scene...
And again, her acting is nowhere near as bad as some of those teenyboppers that have invaded public tv....
Actually... her acting sucks.. just sayin'.
Well, it's not necessarily her acting I'm complaining a bit about. It's that I know what to expect from every role that she's in. Do you think RZ wrote the whole character in just to be able to include his wife in the film? I'll have to wait until I see the movie to judge the decision completely, but from what I've already seen I think it would have been best to leave that character out.
I agree. I think he did, but ohwell.
I mean he did good, in the fact that he made it up his own way.
But he sucked at it. Well atleast he tried...
I didn't like the route he took it. IMO the original was way more unique than his version. I mean, in the original it seemed Michael Myers came from a nice home. Then one night for apparently no reason he just snapped.
RZ, on the other hand, took the most typical of stories and just went with it.

Your right. And I do agree.
It is pretty typical.
I don't know if anyone else went here, but I think the main reason she's in every one of his films is that she is giving up the booty. She's an okay actress, looks okay, but the most important aspect is she is his wife. I haven't read specifics on her, but some directors make their spouses read for a part. Like Helena Bonham Carter in Sweeney Todd. Just my opinion.
