I think the new TCM was quite awesome IMO. I also think it held up quite well.
I think people are just easily swayed to say they hate remakes because hating on remakes is a fad in itself.
Well if that really is the case, I would say I hated (well, most) remakes before it was cool
I love some Remakes, but others can be pretty shitty.

Exactly. I'm willing to bet most people claiming to HATE and DESPISE remakes, are there opening night to watch them.
