baths and showers have proven deadly in horror...
but notice even dirty folks get cleaved example:Friday pt 5

still I think I'd prefer going to my end in another means (knock on wood)

There is a little game I play with Horror Movies:

It's called "They don't ever waste a bathroom scene". Notice almost any movie you watch has something happen in a bathroom? this is because we as humans, feel almost totally... Well, weak in the bathroom. You're either naked or our pants are around your ankles, and no one wants to run away like that for that human fear of embarrassment. So basically every movie you watch, something happens in the Bathroom because you naturally feel psychologically useless in there.

even if the scene isn't that scary, you'll feel it in there more than you would in the Kitchen where the Butcher Knife is.

and with that quote it makes me wonder what other psychological horror cliche's are out there....

I'll start -
a couple very much in love will most likely be killed together or have something really BAD or icky happen to the other - because for most - love is a comfort and we all know you can't be comfortable or content for too long in a horror film!

Hey! Tell me how that Misfits show goes, alrigh'?
LokiZee Wrote:Hey! Tell me how that Misfits show goes, alrigh'?

I will, I'm really looking forward to it. It will be the first time I see them with my husband.
Tell me how it goes aswell!Smile
They were awesome! I feel like I'm hungover right now, but all I had to drink was a monster and water. It still weirds me out that Jerry will chew gum, sing and play non-stop. It's kinda funny to watch.

We had to suffer through 6, i think, opening bands, only two of them were ok, the rest of them sucked. Show started around six, the misfits got on stage at 10:30 or so. They played the one song I really wanted to hear (astro zombies)

My keyboard sounds funny, my ears are still ringing after like 10 hours of sleep. I felt like I was going to faint at one point during the show, yesterday was hot and humid outside, raining on and off. When we went down in the pit, my ears were actually hurting, that's how loud they were.

I really liked Harpos as a venue though, there's the pit by the stage and the stage is high, like i'd say 7 feet or so off the ground, so if you're on the first level, where there's table, you're almost level with the stage, so you actually see everything better.

We had a disposable camera with us, so we gotta get the photos developed, but if they're good, i'll post them.
I've got a digital camera that works great that eats batteries like potato chips...

still worth it to edit/erase though.

But now in house cleaning found three disposable cameras! Wonder what's on them???

That guy posted a bunch of videos from last night's show. I just msged him asking if he filmed astro zombies, I'm hoping he did, it's my favorite misfits song.
