RELEASE DATE 2010 CURRENT STATUS Post-Production LANGUAGE English PRODUCED BY Hyde Park Films Platinum Studios DIRECTED BY Kevin Munroe WRITTEN BY Thomas Dean Donnelly Joshua Oppenheimer STARRING Brandon Routh Sam Huntington Taye Diggs Anita Briem Peter Stormare Kurt Angle - Filmed in New Orleans. - Peter Stormare will be play a werewolf named "Gabriel." - Kurt Angle will play a werewolf named "Wolfgang." - Anita Briem plays "Elizabeth" one of Brandon Routh's love interests. - Taye Diggs plays "Vargas", the head of a vampire family. - Sam Huntington (Superman Returns, Fanboys) plays Dylan's sidekick "Marcus". - Director Kevin Munroe hopes to use as little CGI as possible, and stick mostly with practical effects. - Budgeted at $20-million. - Actors Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington both starred together in Superman Returns. - Due to right's issues the original sidekick from the Italian comic, Groucho Marx, (much like the Dark Horse publication) will not be used in this feature film adaptation. - It's said that Dylan will encounter zombies, vampires, and werewolves. - The film will reportedly not follow any of the previous cases from the novel, and will take place in New York City. - Scripted by Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly. - Brandon Routh (Superman) plays Dylan Dog. - You may remember director Kevin Munroe from his work with the new TMNT CGI film. - David R.
