Debate: Is "classic" Jason Mentally Challenged - Dearsonis - 01-21-2010

Alrighty 2nd thread lol so I've always thought it but I wanna know what you guys think so GO!!!

And here are my reasons:
- did you see the way he is running in Pt.2, definitely something wrong there lol
- on Pt.2 he slices someones throat with the dull side, come on, common sense there, use the sharp side aha.
- doesn't learn how to swim until what?!? Pt. 8! lol
- and I'm just throwing this one out there but he hates boobs, come on wtf lol

That's all I can think of at the moment, but maybe you guys could think of more

Yeah. I believe Mrs. Voorhees' calling him "not a strong swimmer" in part 1 went to cover up for him being not mentally coordinated enough to do so...

And of course, years in the woods alone didn't do much to help him >.<

Debate: Is "classic" Jason Mentally Challenged - TravisLegge - 01-24-2010

Define smart.

You can be plenty "mentally challenged" and still be quite knowledgable/skilled/intelligent with regard to certain things. (think Rain Man...or any inbred toothless guy working at the local Auto Lube (I realize not all auto mechanics are retarded, just the inbred, toothless ones))

The boy was special ed, there is no doubt, it's brought up repeatedly. But he's also a good survivalist/wilderness guy, partially cause he had to be.

For someone that is "special" he sure has a knack for coming around when women are naked, people are starting sex or the uncanny ability to walk slow as anything and still manage to grab his victim who always seems to find the slippery leaves in the grass or is so clumsy that they fall every 5 seconds,,hot damn he is a psychic genius Smile
