I have been on a mission for many years to collect and watch every stupid horror movie made in the world. Be it America, Japan, eurotrash, south of the border you name it I have seen or at least scanned thru them all. I always hope to find something truly incredible or gross at teh very least. The other day i saw human centipede from holland and it was one of the sickest fimls ever. I was impressed with the violence of a girl getting her revenge in Martyrs from France. I am singulary disappointed and even embarassed by the junk being made in the US- cant this country do anything right anymore.

Glad you're not just in it to "riff" and actually look for good ones throughout your search. (though I do think your outlook on US horror is too harsh; yeah most US stuff is "meh" at best in this decade and the past, but it is far from all "junk") Any lesser known recommendations?
I haven't made horror films, though I do hope to do so someday.

I'm actually in the process of making my own short horror movie right now. So, I can't wait to see how that turns out. I'm writing, directing, editing, acting, etc... I just hope that I can pull it off the way I envision it. Also, I have my own horror show which I'm about to start working on again. Unfortunately, that's been on hold for too long, but I came to find that taking the break came with great benefits. It has given me the opportunity to set back and really think about what I'm doing. Also, it gave me time to do some shopping. In other words, the new episodes are going to be of much better quality. I can't wait to unleash a new episode upon the internet crowd.
As for foreign horror being so much better than American, I cannot agree. Maybe you could give me some suggestions that would change my mind. So far, the best I've seen has been Battle Royale. I've also seen my share of shitty foreign horror movies.
