Variety reports that Londons Vertigo Films has added the SHROOMS follow-uwhile the SHROOMS sequel is in the early stages of development as a co-production with Ireland’s Treasure Entertainment, which made the original. In that film, directed by Paddy Breathnach and released Stateside in 2008, a group of friends head into a forest to sample the local magic mushrooms and get caught up in a hallucinatory murder scenario. “Not every film we make will be in 3-D,” Vertigo’s Rupert Preston tells the trade. “But the younger audiences do expect it now and the format massively enhances the entertainment value. We’re not jumping on a bandwagon; we’re just looking to push the envelope further.” One project that won’t receive the dimensional enhancement is Vertigo’s upcoming English-language remake of Nicolas Winding Refn’s acclaimed Danish thriller PUSHER.

...Not one person I now "expects" 3D, and the entertainment value is minorly enhanced at best -_-

A movie about hallucinations could benefit maybe, but not necessarily.
