Piranha 6.Night of the Lepus 7.The Thaw 8.Jaws 9.The Swarm 10.The Food of the Gods 11.Tentacles 12.Day of the Animals 13.Black Water 14.Sharktopus 15The Giant Spider Invasion 16.Megapiranha 17.Tarantulas the Deadly Cargo 18.Rattlers 19Destination Infestation 20.The Savage Bees I cant think of many things scarier than being devoured. This is my favorite sub-genre. Now what's your favorites? What scares you? What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - NicoleMayCanaday - 11-01-2010 Tremors lol Seriously...huge earthquake causing worms that eat me...where's Reba with her guns? What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - FreddysFingers - 11-02-2010 Jaws probably. The rest are either just campy fun or b-movie trash. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - mytee - 11-02-2010 And I for one am not about to stand here and argue with someone who's lining up to be a hot lunch [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgPxCc6dgjU"]YouTube - Scene from Squirm[/ame] [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2tnUl2bICc"]YouTube - Terror at the camp- Piranha[/ame] [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dzl1RkBxNsY"]YouTube - Frogs (1972 Theatrical Trailer)[/ame] What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - NicoleMayCanaday - 11-02-2010 Lol no animals were harmed in the making of these films....just humans What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - FreddysFingers - 11-02-2010 A lot of outrage was heard with Kingdom of the Spiders because they actually did kill hundreds of live spiders and I think they actually set a few on fire. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - mytee - 11-02-2010 They removed the fangs so they couldnt bite-the hairy little monsters starved to death-it was awful I hate spiders but reason to be cruel about it -Im certainly not PETA freak or anything-but I hate deliberate cruelty. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - BGTNJeff - 11-23-2010 SQUIRM is one piece of twisted Southern worm Gothic, a screeching maniacal nightmare. Of course, I love it like a child. Worm shower? My wife's knees almost hit her knees when she saw that scene. I have a tremendous love of KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS, not just because of the presence of St. William (Shatner), but because of the ending shot, which looks like it may have, at one time, been a paint-by-numbers project. Good stuff. No love for PROPHECY, Mytee? Mercury poisoned mutated bear-monster FTW! What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - FreddysFingers - 11-24-2010 Kingdom of the Spiders is actually really good but in a sort of corny way. There is a lot of homage to Romero's Night of the Living Dead in that film as well. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - mytee - 09-19-2011 I tend to forget Prophecy (1979) it was good though John Frankenheimer made quite a few mistakes-if you read Danse Macabre by Stephen King writes about that-Im going to have to add it to my Netflix list if I can get it in -my daughter has it filled with other horror movies-I havent seen it in a long time What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - Oldman - 09-19-2011 I was going to say Prophecy (1979) a good movie about pollution of our environment What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - mytee - 09-19-2011 as I recall it's pretty good there's just so many in that sub-genre I tend to leave it out-and another one that came out after I posted that is MegaPython vs Gatoroid -I loved this movie where else but SYFY channel can you see Tiffany vs Debbie Gibson vs giant snakes and gators? What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - MR.Torrance - 10-11-2011 mytee Wrote:Some of my absolute favorite movies are ecological nightmares-here's my list: I like alot of the one's listed here. As far as my favorites probably jaws, pirahna, empire of the ants, cujo, anaconda and more!!! Anyone like Rogue? I thought that was a pretty good killer croc movie. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - mytee - 10-11-2011 Rogue was really good! Glad to see Im not the only one to appreciate the ecological nightmare sub-genre( my does that sound pretentious) What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - Oldman - 10-11-2011 You can add The Pack (1977) and The Breed released on DVD in 2007 to that List. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - mytee - 10-11-2011 Oldman Wrote:You can add The Pack (1977) and The Breed released on DVD in 2007 to that List. I didnt like The Breed-but I forgot all about The Pack-as I recall it was pretty good What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - Oldman - 10-11-2011 mytee Wrote:I didnt like The Breed-but I forgot all about The Pack-as I recall it was pretty good I agree The Breed wasn't that good it seemed more of a ripoff of The Pack. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - Oldman - 10-11-2011 What's your opinion does this belong on that list The Burrowers. What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - mytee - 10-11-2011 hmmmmm The Burrowers could go on the list-they never did explain what those things actually were so why not? What is your favorite ecological nightmare/killer animal movies - MR.Torrance - 10-11-2011 I agree putting the burrowers on the list but lets not forget a classic, " The Birds". |
