Perfect 10's? - Chainsaw Brutality - 07-09-2011 It's really simple, just list the film(s) you feel deserve a 10/10. You may have none, you may have many. Whatever the case, discuss away. Here are mine: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) A Clockwork Orange (1971) The Godfather (1972) Dawn of the Dead (1978) Halloween (1978) Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) Unforgiven (1992) Pulp Fiction (1994) The Shawshank Redemption (1994) The Big Lebowski (1998) Toy Story 2 (1999) Black Hawk Down (2001) Adaptation (2002) We Were Soldiers (2002) Oldboy (2003) The Descent (2005) The Departed (2006) Pan's Labyrinth (2006) No Country for Old Men (2007) The Dark Knight (2008) The Wrestler (2008) The Hurt Locker (2009) Winter's Bone (2010) Perfect 10's? - Marklar - 07-09-2011 The Exorcist Dawn of the dead Midnight Meat train Salems Lot Let the right one in Shawshank Redemption The goonies The Inn of the sixth Happiness Star wars ( Return of the jedi)(Empire strikes back) ET Two mules for sister sara Perfect 10's? - FreddysFingers - 07-09-2011 I don't base my movies on a scale of 10 but rather a scale of 5, however, I guess either way they are the maximum amount of stars I can give a film. Off the top of my head… the following gets a 10/10 or a 5/5 Titanic Glory Sunset Boulevard Key Largo Brazil Goodfellas Wall Street The Thing Toy Story 1-3 The Lion King E.T. Schindler's List Who Framed Roger Rabbit Unforgiven Pulp Fiction Perfect 10's? - Scarecrow - 07-09-2011 Debbie Does Dallas. Perfect 10's? - FreddysFingers - 07-09-2011 Debbie Does Dallas is overrated. Gold Diggers is where it's at. There's "necrophilia" in that movie. Perfect 10's? - Chainsaw Brutality - 07-09-2011 Scarecrow Wrote:Debbie Does Dallas. hahaha Perfect 10's? - Dr. Briggs - 07-09-2011 It's a toughie; a 10/10 is hard to achieve for me, especially both on a personal and critical level Apocalypse Now, original cut The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) Amadeus Dog Day Afternoon Metropolis (1927) There'll probably be more, but I truly have to wrestle with myself concerning what is worthy Perfect 10's? - Scarecrow - 07-09-2011 To be serious though for a moment, there are only four films that have reached the status of a perfect film. The Shawshank Redemption The Dark Knight Heat Zodiac Perfect 10's? - FreddysFingers - 07-09-2011 Shawshank and Amadeus were amazing. I wanted to cry at the end of Shawshank. Perfect 10's? - Scarecrow - 07-09-2011 The end always makes me smile. When Andy first sees Red on the beach, just an awesome moment of cinema. Perfect 10's? - Creamy Goodness - 07-09-2011 Duck Soup Inception Black Swan The Dark Knight The Social Network Toy Story 3 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Up I Saw the Devil Ip Man Oldboy Children of Men Moon The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Terminator 2 Psycho (1960) Jaws Mr. Nobody Casino Perfect 10's? - CarolinePar - 07-10-2011 my top 10 favorite films from any genre Who Framed Roger Rabbit Labyrinth The Nightmare Before Christmas CLUE The Last Unicorn Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland Toby and the Koala (Yoram Gross dir.) The Wiz/Wizard of OZ Tom Sawyer (with Jodi Foster) Watership Down (yes even bunnies can be scary)
Perfect 10's? - FreddysFingers - 07-10-2011 Ah Duck Soup. People drastically underestimate the humor of the Marx brothers. It's one of those films that I can laugh over and over again at. Speaking of slapstick, thanks Caroline for making remember Clue. Although not a 10/10, it's certainly a favorite. Here are more I just thought of: Metropolis The Great Dictator Modern Times Brazil Forrest Gump Dances With Wolves Perfect 10's? - Oldman - 07-10-2011 Here are some of my 10s and I just kept to the Horror Genre and they are not in order. Hellraiser An American Werewolf in London Phantasm Suspiria The Strangers Silence of the Lambs Saw Silent Night Deadly Night Sleepaway Camp Halloween(Original) Friday the 13th(Original) Nightmare On Elm Street(Original) Perfect 10's? - FreddysFingers - 07-10-2011 Ah Sleepaway Camp. The movie with the twist that's the equivalent of kicking a man in the balls, then finding out that he doesn't have any on a count of the fact that he ain't a man. Also add The Exorcist Rosemary's Baby Alien Psycho(1960) The Fog(1980) Night of the living Dead(1968) Poltergeist Re-Animator Texas Chainsaw Massacre(1974) The Hills Have Eyes(1977) Perfect 10's? - Chainsaw Brutality - 07-10-2011 I knew I'd forget a couple ........ Black Hawk Down (2001) We Were Soldiers (2002) Oldboy (2003) Pan's Labyrinth (2006) The Hurt Locker (2009) Perfect 10's? - FreddysFingers - 07-10-2011 It's very hard for me to give a horror movie a 5/5 or 10/10 and the only horror movie that has that rating is The Thing. Even my second favorite movie, The Blob, is a 5 1/2.
