Only ones I've seen "in my area" are family made, and not all that interactive :/ . The most effective IMO was actually a "haunted front porch" with a ghoulish dude who would sneak up behind you as you left with your treat and growl
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

Been to one haunted house, when I was six. That is when I learned not be first. Long story short, didn't like it, and didn't want to go to another one. Looking back on it it wasn't impressive, at all.
Out running a killer is like out running a bear, you don't have to run just have a friend that is slower than you!

Sorry for the mixed experiances ever yone - I've been on a few haunted houses (real and planned) and a few variances of such, the Psycho Swamp of Six Flags was tame in some parts but well made use of dry ice and folks coming out of the mist

I plan on going to one this year. I love haunted houses. Well, the big ones, anyway. If it's some people I know whom are just making one it's usually lame.
