BojanglesA paranormal event that happened to me involving an Ouija board.
#1
Ok, I've finally decided to share this with everyone. First, let me tell you that I do not lie or exaggerate anything. I fucking hate it when someone lies, especially about paranormal experiences. I've been around so many people that lie about them it makes it hard for me to share my personal experiences because I don't want people to think that I am lying. Why? Because a ton of people have lied to me in real life and I'm certain of it.

I especially hate it when I'm playing the Ouija board with someone and they are the ones whom are actually moving the planchette (the thing you all put your hands on). I get pissed off and I will NOT play with them anymore. I don't know why so many people lie about their experiences, but they do. You have my word that I would never lie to anyone about my experiences. I don't have a ton or anything, but I do have a few and here's one of them. This happened I would say a couple years ago.

My sister still lives with my mom and I will visit from time to time. They claim that the house is haunted and I do believe them. There's some creepy stuff that has happened there and I have witnessed some of it. Well, I took my Ouija board up there and that's where it stays now. Whenever I play Ouija it's with them because I know for a fact they would never lie or move it themselves. There have been more than a few nights where we would play for an hour or so and there would be no movement at all. Talk about boring, but at least I know that they're not moving the planchette to entertain. As a matter of a fact, my mom wouldn't even allow any joking around the board. Either you're going to play right or she would flat out refuse to play. She also hated it when a "bad spirit" would come through. I would always insist on continuing, though. If I remember correctly, he came that night. He would always lie, cuss, etc... The planchette always seemed to move quicker with him than others we would talk to. So, it was more entertaining. For me, at least. Plus, it was mysterious to talk with him.

We would usually play with the board in the living room; right in front of the entertainment center. We would turn all the lights off and light candles. We were all sitting there with the board on the floor in front of us, each of us on a different side of the board. My sister to my right, my mom was in front of me, across the board. My mom and I were right beside the entertainment center. For instance, I could have easily reached over and turned the television on if I had wanted to.

Well, we were playing and getting some good activity. We had been sitting there for awhile before my mom decided that she needed a bathroom break. I read some where that if you're getting activity and everyone takes their hand off of the planchette you will lose the spirit. So, there should always be at least one person touching the planchette or else you could lose the spirit. So, when she got up to go to the bathroom I left my hand on the planchette. My sister leaned back; stretching. I had my right leg tucked under my left, semi-indian style. My left leg was stretched out, in front of the entertainment center but not touching it.

My sister and I were talking, I kept my hand on the planchette and that's when it happened. All of a sudden the whole entertainment center started shaking. The doors on the bottom looked as if something was trying to get the fuck out, then it stopped. It seemed like it happened really quick. I was just sitting there wondering what the fuck, looking over at the entertainment center. I looked back at my sister and she was looking right at me. She grinned, thinking I was pulling a prank on her at first. I told her I didn't move, look at my leg. I didn't hit it or anything. She knew I hadn't, but she couldn't believe what was happening. That's when it hit her. All of a sudden, it started shaking again. I'm not sure how long it shook, because I moved very quickly. I jumped up, my sister was shocked, still sitting there looking at the entertainment center. I grabbed under her arms from behind and pulled her up to her feet. We both stood there looking at the thing and it wasn't shaking anymore. I remember saying "Whatever the fuck it is I'm not letting it get me while I'm on the ground". I turned the light on and shortly after my mom walked back into the room. We told her all about it and started speculating.

The ONLY explaination I could have came up for it was that maybe a cat (there was two in the house) ran behind the entertainment center. I knew that a cat couldn't come close to moving it like that, but it maybe could have made similar noises? I don't know, I was just trying to come up with something. There was only one problem with my theory. BOTH of the cats had follow my mom into the bathroom. There were litter boxes in there and a food/water bowl for them.

I know my experience is lengthy and may not seem all that scary. However, when you have a whole entertainment center moving beside of you and it looks like something is trying to come out of the doors in them it's scary in real life.

Oh and yes I did open the doors to the entertainment center (the ones that looked like something was trying to get out of them were on the bottom of the entertainment center, by the way)... Nothing was in there except DVD's and video games.

I don't touch Ouija boards they are bad mojo, I thought about it once, but got a real bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, and passed on it.
Out running a killer is like out running a bear, you don't have to run just have a friend that is slower than you!

I haven't really messed with one since I was young, but, honestly, I've never trusted anyone enough not to move it.(Not in anyway saying your mom or sister would. You're lucky that you can trust them that much.) The entertainment center, on the other hand, is a complete different thing. Very strange.

Shoot after all the crap i have witnessed, experienced of course i believe it. Some of my stories may seem "OUT there", but they are true, Ruby has even witnessed some also. We had a roommate that was into santanism and went behind our backs and done a ritual on Halloween in our living room. Dont think shit didnt come from that!Unchair

Dude what the fuck.... Don't TOUCH those things! You are a good guy and all, and I would worry about anyone I knew who was messing with that. We don't, and can't, understand everything that happens, and when you start messing around with things like that, you really have no way of knowing what else you're opening yourself up to.

I'd say stop messing with that, and get yourself a Tape Recorder, and a way to film. Even if it's something like a Laptop or Desktop hooked up with a Webcam for cheap, and some form of tape recorded.

Try this:

Get yourself some tape recorders. Digital ones are a little more to buy, and pricey, but they work fine, and so do the cheap ones with little tapes. Take that, and go in the house later in the day (Wait until it's dark because this way you aren't picking up noise from the people who live near there) and use a Webcam or video camera to sit in a location things have happened in, and record that room.

Make sure the lights are off, because you don't want to chance having light reflections on tape. They can look like all kinds of things, and the human mind will do Matrixing, which basically means you'll see a human face in something that basically isn't one, because your mind tries to make sense of something it is trying to comprehend. This can make things seem like a face when they aren't.

Once you have an angle that allows you to see most of a room something seems to happen in, LEAVE IT ALONE!

Then, take your family, and hand them all tape recorders, and basically walk around the House asking questions. You want people to NOT be moving around. This will prevent someone walking being mistaken as footsteps, and also, of course, if someone is walking around in the dark and knocks something over, well, you know what that would sound like.

If possible, take only two people at a time, and STAY IN THE SAME ROOM! This makes it so that you not only know where everyone is, you'll know if a noise if coming from THEM.

The questions you can use are fairly basic and can be found I'm sure on hundreds of web sites:

Is anyone in here with us?

Is there someone here who would like to talk?

Can you make a noise to show you're here?

Also make sure you wait like 10 seconds in between each question. If something answers you and you're talking again, you'll have a hard time listening to see what happened while you were taping.

Try to hold the recorder in a way that it's facing away from you so that you can better hear things that aren't you breathing and so on.

Also, DO NOT move around. So try and sit in a comfy position, because if you start to move, you're going to pick THAT up, and then you have to try and remember who moved when something happened.

Also, put a Tape Recorder in the room with the video just in case, and also, leave a few around the House. This way, you've got recorders in each room, and the one you and the other Family members are in, will be covered. You want them to stay with you and not make noise unless asking a question because it will make it easier to tell what you have on tape.

Also, use HEADPHONES! When you stop recording and you're all done, hook up the recorder to some decent head phones, and turn the volume up. This way you can hear things that aren't exactly easy to understand.

If you turn it up and hear a whisper for example, you won't normally hear that to well if you just play the tape back. Also, take a pad of paper and pen to write down the time on the tape where you hear something you can't account for (Like you hear a voice when no one else was speaking) write that down, and then, listen to EVERY second. You don't know when something is going to decide to speak.

Anyone that messes with this kind of stuff period is opening up themselves to be subjected to who knows what. Anything can happen no matter what your messing with. Anyone can be subjected to an "attatchment" situation. And if you dont know what your doing, then get someone who does at least to supervise any activities you join in. Its not really something a person should just play with. Sad
