BojanglesAnimals and Spirits

Have you ever noticed your animal watching something, but you can't see what it's looking at? Have ever seen it run towards something that's not there? Some people say animals can see spirits, things that we can't. What do you think? Any personal stories?

I've seen animals following things with their eyes, but nothing is there. I've also seen them run after things, but I don't see what they're running for.

I've caught my cats staring at nothing,
they would just sit there and stare forever,
until I would holler at them.

So I do believe animals and children are more apt to seeing spirits then most adults are.

When my young one was a baby, she always stared up the stairs in my house and talked to someone up there that wasn't there. She wasn't an animal, but you see the similarity.

I believe that animals most especially dogs are clairvoyant too... we believe here in South East Asia as one of our oldest known paranormal beliefs is that ability have the ability to see or communicate with the dead. It would be easy to believe that people have come to that conclusion based on a dog’s natural behavior. We’ve all seen dogs stand still and stare or react to something we were unable to see or hear. However, there may be much more to it then that.

One of the houses that my parents an I lived in was haunted. Our dog one night all of a sudden perked up his head and was moving it, following something, then he stopped an starred for about a min. and just started to growl and bark. The next day we found out that someone killed themselves in the room we were in, so we figured that was what he was barking at.
Out running a killer is like out running a bear, you don't have to run just have a friend that is slower than you!

Yikes, Maxx! Any information on the suicide story, or any other experiences happen in that house? I don't know about dogs, but I do know that when I had cats they would stare at things, usually towards the ceiling or down the hall. You could watch them follow something with their eyes, and sometimes that would move their heads.

We don't know why he kill himself. And as far as I know nothing else happened ghostly, but that could be my parents shielding me as usual, plus I went nuts when I found out that somebody killed themselves.
