[Friday The 13th]

This is the story about a group of scientists who try to track down and trap a killer alien from n 1974, when the United States government relayed a message containing information about Earth and its inhabitants--including the DNA sequences that make up the human cell--to the rest of the galaxy. But now twenty years later, a reply finally arrives, containing a unique sequence of DNA--along with the friendly instruction to combine it with their own. A top secret experiment is undertaken and within weeks one of the injected human ova grows into a seemingly normal female child, called "Sil." It soon becomes apparent, however, that she possesses dangerous alien characteristics. "She" is part human, part alien, beautiful, strong, very dangerous and desperate to mate with a human being

Has anyone seen these movies? I think their are 4 total?
But I think I have only seen 2 of them.
I can truly say these films are good flicks!
They are quite interesting, I feel they deserve more coverage.

I saw the first one and I thought it was okay. I don't remember the second one and the others I have not seen. But yes, they do deserve a lot more attention.

Agreed - the first one was fun, and had a hell of a cast - Michael Madsen, Ben Kingsley, Forest Whitaker! But I haven't seen the sequels. Should.

The first one had a lot of sex as I remember. Also, I always connected the move Decoys with Species.

Species 2&3 were very poor follow up's. Natasha Henstridge makes only a brief appearance in 3
