- There's currently no US distribution.
- Since the original movie was completed it was sold to foreign territories under the titles The Tribe and/or The Forgotton Ones.
- Originally filmed in 2006 under the title The Tribe and was to be released in After Dark Film's horrorfest lineup in 2007. This fell through when the producers weren't fond of the final cut and opted to reshoot, however by this time the cast and crew had moved onto other projects. The studio was then forced to enlist a whole new cast and crew, including a new writer and director making it an entirely new movie. Along with the new film, the title was changed to The Lost Tribe, which would later be changed to Primal.
- Not to be confused with the low-budget Aussie film with the same name.
