ZA: Zombies Anonymous
AKA: Last Rites of the Dead
Director
Marc Fratto
Staring
Gina Ramsden ... Angela
Joshua Nelson ... Josh
Christa McNamee ... The Commandant
Plot
In an imagined reality where zombies coexist with ordinary mortal folk, the undead are considered second-class citizens. Angela (Gina Ramsden) finds this out the hard way when she's shot by her boyfriend and must learn to adjust to her new zombie lifestyle. She tempers her hunger for human flesh with Zombies Anonymous meetings and tries to pass for living in the mortal world. Joshua Nelson co-stars in Marc Fratto's tongue-in-rotted-cheek satire.
Review
ZA: Zombie Anonymous has a clever concept, and one that I actually liked, what if zombies werenât actually mindless undead. They are still fully functioning members of society; they still work for a living, they still love, hate, and feel, the only problem is that they are undead. In this movie you have four sides to chose from: the living extremist, who are mortality-ist; the living sympathizers, who will still date a zombie, or might help get rid of the zombies who want to fully die; then you have the zombie neutral, who just want to go about their normal âlivesâ; then you have the zombie extremist, who work like a terrorist organization, setting fire to extermination facilities, and feeding on their desires, raw human flesh. The movie is mainly dealing with the two extremists. To solve the problem with the zombies eating the living they have them eating raw hamburger, because âthe living foodâ , i.e. doughnuts, coffee, candy, makes them through up, clever way to get around the issue. Itâs a little long for an independent movie, and when I thought it was done, I looked at the time and there was still another 30 mins. left. There is a long drawn out fight scene in my opinion, but itâs dealing with the three main characters, each fighting their own battles, and the end result is what I wanted. Itâs a great movie with a funny twist on the traditional zombies. I defiantly recommend seeing it.
I give it 4/5 Headshots.

Out running a killer is like out running a bear, you don't have to run just have a friend that is slower than you!
