This makes my night sadder. He was one of my favorite comedic actors...

That's him. Naked Gun was my favorite.

This news actually hit me pretty hard. Airplane! and the Naked Gun movies were my childhood favs and to see him die... it was like a childhood hero passed away. He will be missed greatly!
