[COLOR="Cyan"]We all know that there is a ton of "haunting" shows out there now. I thought I'd compile a list and start to rate them. Please feel free to give your opinions or fix any omissions on my part. As I love to watch them, I feel that I can do a descent job of rating them.
We'll go with believability first with a scale of:
= Bullshit
= Mostly Believable
Paranormal State(A&E): They are prone to going to people's houses and stirring up stuff, but I think there may be something going on there in the first place.
Ghost Hunters(SyFy): Just as likely to point out the causes of the "hanting" as they are to say that there are some things that cannot be explained.
Extreme Paranormal(A&E): They go to spooky/horrific locations. I don't believe a thing they see.
Ghost Hunters International (SyFy): They are no Grant & Jason. They make a minimal attempt at other explanations, and tend toward hysteria. Some of the members of the group are fine. Some could see a ghost in Antarctica.
The Othersiders(CN): They're kids. Enough said.
Ghost Adventures(Travel): Again, prone to hysteria. But, I've seen some interesting stuff on there.
Destination Truth(SyFy): They try to debunk, but, really, they never catch much. They take any supposed evidence to an expert in that field. [/COLOR]
