mrblueLionsgate vs Paramount

lol Saw VI director Kevin Greutert was attached to get behind the camera for Paranormal Activity 2. Paramount furthered the attack by placing the sequel head-to-head with Lionsgate's Saw VII 3D on October 22. If last year was any indication, Paranormal definitely had the upper hand in the competition, a battle that hadn't really begun until now. Lionsgate has thrown a VIOLENT blow back at Paramount by exercising an option that has forced Greutert to head back to Toronto for the seventh Saw film instead of showing off his talents in Paranormal 2. It wasn't his decision as he's now officially a casualty of war. David Hackl on the other hand, he'll be moving over to an unnamed Lionsgate project (thank God) Laughing-satan

Well there's a dirty trick... but hell, at least Lionsgate respects it's products now! X)

I personally wouldn't know who to root for; both companies have a fair share of dirty business practices (Paramount apparently doesn't respect horror at all, Lionsgate respects it but only if money allows Tongue), but both have some moments where they treat fans right.

I watched PA last night and it was a fairly good film; not really grounds for a sequel but if it has a nicely original plot to work from alongside the same directorial style it'll likely be good... But of course, I am also a Saw fan and I am DROOLING from part 6's cliffhanger!

In my mind, whoever wins, we'll be as well off as if the other did X)
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”
