I LOVE Hammer films. Have 'em all on DVD. Especially a big fan of Chris Lee's Dracula and Cushing's Frankenstein.

Any other Hammer fans here?

Heya Hammerfan!
Yes I love all those old Hammer films. My favourite would be Hound Of The Baskervilles... Also love Plague Of The Zombies, The Reptile, The Devil Rides Out.
Alot of the Hammer productions fall into the 'so bad their good' category but these are the films that made me fall in love with Horror Smile

Hi Famgenstein

Yes, I totally agree. They were all great films. Like yourself, I too became hooked on horror movies after watching all the Hammer movies as a kid back in the late sixties. Universal was also my other favourite studio. Never thought that one day I would have all of these classic movie monster movies on dvd to watch whenever I like!

*clears throat* Sorry...

The Hammer films are fantastic. Some of my other faves are The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll and The Phantom of the Opera.

What are your thoughts on the TV show Hammer House Of Horror.

Honestly, I only saw maybe 2 or 3 Hammer films. I'm not a big fan of their films. I'll watch them but I don't think they are the best horror studios ever. I did like their Dracula movie with Christopher Lee.

Yes, Hound of The Baskervilles was a great movie. I love any film starring Lee and Cushing. They were the best.

I love Hammer. Its a huge part of my horror viewing and was a staple of my childhood. I believe Peter Cushing is one of the most sorely under-rated actors of any genre. An immense talent who just owned the screen. I think its probably easier to list what I haven't seen of his rather than what I have lol. Uber fan!

Good to see the Hammer name attached to some new projects aswell. Really rated Wake Wood.
