Cannibal Corpse has said that all their songs are based on horror. It's their version of a horror story / movie.

Lightweight, but definitely applicable, My Chemical Romance.
Vampires will Never Hurt You, self explanatory. Early Sunsets over Monroeville, they originally shot Dawn of the Dead in Monroeville. Song about zombies. I Never Told You What I Do For a Living serial killer. They have been quoted as saying they are very influenced by the horror genre.
