Maxx88Need Help
#1
I am currently going to school for Video Production and I have a photography class this semester. I have a project to do that is a scene or movie, that has to be done in 14 pictures, yes 14 pictures, and it's is due on Thursday the 30. I was thinking something with zombies, but I don't know, any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Zombies are great, you're right up Loki's alley. Plus, the movement on the zombies side is minimal. That could be really neat.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys use Macs, PCs, or SGI machines at school? I've seen multiples of each at times. A few use PCs, a LOT use the Macs, and some are awesome and use SGI boxes for the video / media stuff.

Oh, and, a story in 14 pictures:

Zombies
Michael Myers (Frame One, Mask, frame two, full body shot, frame 3, butcher knife, frame 4, blood, and so on).
Silence of the Lambs - 2 hour movie in 14 pictures? Why not, Anthony is only shown for 15 minutes total in the whole movie. Add a small picture for each main scene in it and you have a project!
Night of the Living Dead / goes with Zombies
You could also make up a movie or something too. In Art class once, we had to do a "portrait" thing. I decided to take Black Project Paper, and used White Chalk to do Michael Myer's Mask, and then Blue Chalk to do his suit, and with brown Chalk, I did his hair, and then used some Red to put "10-31" in big BIG font at the top, and then used my finger to rub it and make it look like it was bleeding.

I also did another project where I had to do a painting, which the teacher kept because, as she put it "Even though it's creepy, you did REALLY well!" because I painted a Cemetery, and had Headstones all over the place, and painted in some grass and a few flowers, and hands coming up from the ground between Flowers, and some other shit. She loved it.

The other one I did that she kept, was a White Paper painting where I put a bunch of Black Lines everywhere, and eventually they made small frames, and inside each one on one side, I did skulls, and on the other side of the frames were Sun Shine Faces lol. She hung that up in the gallery. And probably called a Psychiatrist.

Yea the Silence of the Lambs is a good idea. But it has to be original. After I get the pics put up, I can see what everyone thinks of them!

one idea to cross genres - remember in fairy tale a true story with the fairys?
same idea with props and locations - good way to set mood with light and shadows etc.

not to mention the cheep effect of a good flash for a ghostlike look

good luck & let us know what you went with and how it went
